Casa Almika Castello Svevo Apartment

The apartment is in an excellent location, close to bars, restaurants, local attractions, and right on the edge of the Old Town. It was clean, bright, and well-presented. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The location is undoubtedly the apartment’s biggest selling point. However, it may not suit guests looking for peace and quiet in the evenings. The apartment is situated directly above a very popular gelateria, which remains busy throughout the day and into the evening, often with queues stretching from the shop to the end of the street. As the gelateria stays open until midnight, there is a noticeable level of noise. In addition, because the queue forms directly below the apartment, it is difficult to enjoy the balcony doors open without feeling overlooked. The balcony itself is quite small and is only really suitable for standing rather than sitting out comfortably. One small improvement would be the provision of proper glass wine glasses rather than the plastic glasses with screw-on bases. While a minor detail, it did detract slightly from enjoying a lovely bottle of local wine. Overall, the superb location, cleanliness, comfort, and facilities make this a great base for exploring the area, provided you are happy to trade some evening tranquillity for being in the heart of the action.

Location very central Great Buzz outside apartment and fabulous view of the castle Iron ironing board .coffee machine was a plus .Air-conditioning was excellent
