Quinta dos Covais AL

Todo, anfitriones muy atentos, amigables y familiares un 10 para todos. En cuánto al alojamiento, dispone de espacio y enseres que hace de una estancia muy cómoda para 6 personas y una mascota ya que cuenta con todo lo necesario. Además cuenta con una zona al aire libre dentro de la finca muy amplia repleta de flores y árboles con unas vistas impresionantes al río mondego y al entorno natural. La disponibilidad de bicicletas también ayuda a visitar el pueblo y alrededores rodeado de naturaleza.

This is the second time we stayed in this house. The house is fully detached, spacious for 2-4 people, although it has 3 double bedrooms. It is really tastefully decorated yet free of clutter. Very functional, with an open plan but well divided spacious kitchen and lounge and dining area with a window with a uninterrupted view of the river and mountains. There is no aircon for the summer heat, but we kept the shutters/blinds closed during day the peak daytime heat (still good daylight inside), and had breakfast, lunch and dinner on the veranda all the time. The kitchen is very thoughtfully well equipped, with different coffee making machines for those like us who do not like nespresos. Large fridge freezer that cools down food and drinks really well. The host speaks perfect English and is friendly and helpful, and so generous. We had vegetables and food from the large garden, figs, apricots, courgettes, greens, beetroot. We had bbq one evening using useless fire starters and she expertly showed us how the Portuguese start a BBQ - pine cones!! We were very happy and comfortable in this house, and the wifi worked well for remote working. One morning, the network was down, and the host gave me her phone hotspot, so all was fine. Large parking space, with a shaded area if preferred - easy parking.

I can't think of anything here. One may think the Portuguese style narrow short road to the house can be offputting, but when you are through it once, it's a doodle. Restaurants are at least 15 mins drive, but I recommend stocking up with food and try the Portuguese wines, (supermarkets also 15mins away) and enjoy your won tapas and wines on the veranda! There's a large and airy bakery with outside tables and large car parking that serves simple lunches 5 mins drive away.

Todo o espaço envolvente, piscina e jardim com mesa para picnic. Os donos que moram na casa do lado super simpaticos e sempre prestáveis a ajudar no que fosse preciso. Garagem para guardar a mota à sombra

Apesar de não ter sido problema deixo o alerta que os quartos do piso de cima ainda não têm A/C, em dias de muito calor, podem tornar as noites menos confortáveis .

Muy bonito y acogedor, y la familia de la casa es encantadora, nos dieron huevos y naranjas. Tiene mucha finca por lo que ir al con los perros siempre se agradece. Todo estaba súper limpio y la zona es muy relajante.

Es un sitio para desconectar, no tiene gran cosa alrededor, por lo que si quieres desconectar sin salir de la casa es perfecta.
