You won't find a better view in Portugal! Ideal for longer stays. like most places nearby, a car is essential. Directly below the property is one of the most famous river /wooded walks in the area. A truly magical place

Beautiful mountain home, fully equipped and with delightful neighbors. The sounds of rushing streams, playful goats and kids, entertained the senses. Well marked trails along streams and waterfalls. We hope to return some day.

The house and the surrounding countryside were fabulous! Lovely trails for walking with our dog.

The apartment is large, beautifully furnished and has everything you need (if not more!) The hosts were extremely accommodating. No pool but the river is overlooked by the accommodation with a couple of lovely swimming spots. Central in the district (in a small, quiet village) and perfect for exploring the Serra de Estrella mountain range and surrounds (stunning horse-riding at Cavalos no Rio Mondego, Tábua) You can reach the coast, Coimbra, Aveiro, Agueda etc around 1 hour or under by car (situated away from the general holiday masses which for me, was a true bonus).

A shaded outside patio area, overlooking the river was all that was missing for us in our unit. There is a seating area at the back of the building but with no view. (Maybe that is currently being built, as they were busy working in the gardens when we left? Would be perfect...open spaces, view & breeze)
