Vilar dos Condes

A beautiful, secluded village, fruit trees, and a farm right next door. Long warm evenings on the terrace looking out over the donkeys and the forest — and at night a wild boar with her litter of piglets would come into the garden below the house. We stayed in a huge 3-bedroom house with a spacious terrace. The house itself was fascinating — full of antique furniture and countless little details, almost like exploring a small museum. Every room had something new to discover. Plenty of hiking routes nearby, with the Zêzere river just an hour's walk away. The kids kept busy with walks, the pool, and playing with the kittens, and loved watching the farm animals. The region itself is wonderful too — river beaches, dense forests, a dam — plenty to see and explore. Friendly staff and a delicious breakfast, nicely presented. Plus ripe figs straight from the tree as a lovely bonus. One of the best stays in Portugal!

One thing to keep in mind: barbecuing is not allowed in summer due to fire risk. No dishwasher in the house. Other than that, we were very happy with everything.

O pequeno almoço foi ótimo, a localização é tranquila, embora um pouco distante de centro urbano. A anfitriã foi fantástica, surgiu um problema na casa que tínhamos inicialmente reservado, contudo, a proprietária rapidamente tratou de acautelar uma outra casa. Embora a lareira desta segunda casa não tivesse acesa quando chegamos (conforme estava a outra) e a casa estivesse muito fria quando entramos.

Local acolhedor, pessoas muito simpáticas! Ótimo contacto com a natureza! Excelente para fugir da confusão das cidades! Pequeno almoço de excelência! Fui super bem recebida, com certeza voltarei!

Localizado longe de tudo, mesmo para descanso total. Mesmo no meio da Natureza, para quem gosta do descanso. As casas estão equipadas com tudo o que é preciso. Apesar de ter sido só um fim de semana e de ser tudo muito corrido, tenciono voltar, para aproveitar mais.
