Driving from Cape Town to La Ford is a long drive. Once you on the farm all tiredness disappear. It is truly lovely and calm on the farm. You can even stroll to the dam and enjoy the macnificent sunset.

The location was perfect for the drive from the Cederberg to JHB. The farm is absolutely beautiful, and the accommodation was so cozy, especially for a cold mid winter night in the Karoo. The communication for Chelhette was fantastic and it felt like absolutely nothing was missing. The opportunity to braai or get freshly cooked meals as well as the honesty fridge were also really appreciated, especially after the long drive
The only things I can criticize were that the water pressure was a bit inconsistent and that I couldn't get the air fryer to do what I wanted, but that's probably a user error :)

Very attentive host and everything so comfortable. The host was prepared to drive after us, because we forgot something in the cottage. Will sleep there again.

Tranquility. Fresh air. farmlife. Great host. Food that we ordered were more than great. Just out of this world. Fire was burning when we arrived because we had flat tire on the road. One great stay Thanks
