The sunset and night sky were spectacular. The mattress was also very comfortable.

It was a bit scary since the wagon can't lock and we were the only people in the property.

This was an unusual experience as we slept in a very well restored ox wagon dating back to the Great Trek in South Africa. It's a rough camping style but with modern comforts and we expected this. We chose the camp with the least comforts, yet we wanted for nothing. It was a very adventurous and yet humbling experience to be exposed to what pioneers of old would have had to deal with, many times with- out thanks or understanding of the hardships they endured! Thank you, Hester, you were a very kind and thoughtful host.

We were satisfied with all aspects of this unique experience. Showering under the stars with a watering can, can only be a memory maker and drinking fresh cold borehole water, what a pleasure! There are other sites not so rustic, but we enjoyed our stay!
