Summer at The Barn House
Ideally located between Bozeman and Big Sky, The Barn House is your perfect home base for a summer filled with adventure. Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the West Entrance or a 2-hour trip to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park—perfect for exploring both sides of this natural wonder. The Gallatin River is just minutes away, offering world-class fly fishing, while nearby hiking trails, hot springs, and vibrant local restaurants invite you to experience the best of Montana. Winter lovers will appreciate our close proximity to some of Montana’s best ski destinations—just 45 minutes to Big Sky and an hour to Bridger Bowl. After carving up the slopes, return to the warmth of The Barn House. Cozy up by the electric fireplace, enjoy a hot drink, and take in the snow-capped mountain views. It’s the ultimate après-ski escape.
About The Barn House
Once a working barn, this thoughtfully converted vacation rental now offers a unique and charming mountain getaway. The main floor features an open-concept layout with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, and a cozy living room. A versatile bedroom with a king bed (which can be converted to twins upon request) and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower provide convenience and comfort. A large mudroom ensures plenty of space for all your gear, no matter the season.
Upstairs, you’ll find a second inviting living space with plush seating, an electric fireplace, a large TV, and expansive windows that flood the room with natural light and panoramic views. A kitchenette adds extra convenience, and the upstairs bedroom includes a luxurious king bed and another full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Outdoor Amenities
Outside, the fun continues. Dine al fresco on the patio, grill up your favorites, or enjoy some friendly competition on the full horseshoe court. As the sun sets, gather around the firepit for s’mores and stories under the stars. The Barn House was well stocked and ultra comfortable for our snowboarding trip. We did two days at Big Sky and one at Bridger Bowl, with the cabin nestled perfectly between mountains. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here in July 2025. This is, by far, the BEST place we have stayed at! The setting is beautiful! It was close to all the things we wanted to do in that area and the host was welcoming and responsive. 10/5!! We hope to stay here again some time soon!

The place was as described but the pictures do not do the view justice. Wow - we would 100% stay again. Double rainbows, sunshine, rain, snow - all in two days. Hello Montana.
