We love the Whaler. This is our second time staying at the Whaler. Our first time was in tower 1 and this location is in tower 2. We had an oceanfront room. We enjoyed our morning and evenings on the wrap around lanai. We were fortunate to see 2 Hawaiian monk seals on 2 different days relaxing on the beach. We also saw several sea turtles and spinner dolphins. The snorkeling is incredible next to black rock. We also like having the Whaler Village within walking distance. My wife and I enjoy our morning workouts at the gym and our cardio days along the beach is incredible. Lastly, I played 18 at the Royal at Ka'anapali golf course. The location was literally less than a 5 minute drive to the clubhouse. The course is incredible!The only items that need addressed is a new beach chair. The existing beach chair is frayed and starting to fall apart. The freezer does not have an ice maker. There were no ice cube trays. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!
