About this apartment rental

Whaler #401 is a lovely one bedroom/two bath, direct ocean front condominium located in Tower 1. This condo offers sweeping views spanning from Black Rock to the north, across Kaanapali Beach and beyond to the neighbor island of Lanai and up to the lush West Maui Mountains. Sit on the wrap-around lanai and enjoy full afternoon sun, sunsets and whale watching in season. Comfy King bed and a Queen sofa sleeper.

All condos at The Whaler feature full kitchens, full baths, central air conditioning, wi-fi and a large lanai (balcony). Complimentary washer and dryers located on every floor, for guest use.

In addition, this home includes a complimentary abundance of supplies, including premium, paper towels, garbage bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, new kitchen sponge with scrubber; quality rolls of toilet tissue, kleenex, hotel-size bar soap, shampoo, and lotion.
We do not provide daily maid service, however it can be added for an additional cost.
We have exclusively manage units at the Whaler for the past 50 years.

Check-in time is 4:00pm; Check-out 11:00am

***Our minimum stay is 4 nights and 7 nights during the Christmas/New Years holiday. However, we may approve shorter stays if they back up to an existing reservation. We will do our best do accommodate you.

Daily Resort Fee: $35/day plus tax. This covers parking and all resort amenities and is payable upon arrival at the front desk.

The Whaler resort just completed a 36-million dollar renovation. The resort looks fabulous! *We choose this property over many others because of the view. It did not disappoint. Excellent ocean AND mountain views from the very large lanai. It was so relaxing to hear the surf during the day and night even with the doors and windows closed. We will stay here again.

*Love the island of Maui. Have stayed at the Whaler Condominiums for 37 years now and stayed in many of the various units, some excellent and some average, but overall very good standard and have all the facilities required. Would definitely recommend the Whaler as a place to stay. Lovely situation on Kaanapali Beach, central to shops, restaurants, etc. Great stay as always.

Great condo. Incredible views. Somewhat dated decor but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed whale-watching from the lanai, as well as the sunsets over Lanai. Kitchen had everything we needed, including 2 coffee grinders. Easy access via beach side stairs or mid-building elevators (3). Parking underground or in rear outdoor lot that is paid for as part of the 35/day resort fee. Great beach for swimming. Beach towels included. Condo has a boogie board and beach chairs, cooler, 3 sets of medium size swim fins - 1 mask snorkel. Surfboard rentals down next to the beach. We opened the sliders and the 4th floor condo catches the trade winds so we had no need for the aircon.

Our stay was pretty amazing. Perfect location, beautiful views. Beautiful property. The room was pretty nice. Could’ve used a little bit of updating and a little bit better cleaning the location doesn’t get any better than this room.

The condo has a corner balcony with great ocean views and some mountains. Whales off the coast and islands in the distance. Beach and excursions are just steps away and shopping center with restaurants next door. Would definitely recommend.

The view is gorgeous. Location is wonderful to can walk to whalers village. Beach is no rocks great for walking and access to the water .
