Friendly and helpful staff. Had the onsen to myself both times I used it. Room was large enough and there was a shed to secure our bicycle in.
It was a 1km+ walk into town for dinner but that wasn’t really a problem.

It was stepping back in time. Traditional Japanese style every thing. 18-20 walk to things. It’s a small mountain town. Not much there. That’s okay. The people in this little town are so kind. Took us around site seeing. It really beautiful. The Onsen water was nice. It’s rustic n old.
We had to leave between 930-1600. That makes it hard when traveling. It doesn’t look like the pictures.
