Apartment La Fontaine by Interhome

Excellent location with amazing views of the sunset over the water and such easy access to the beach. Spacious, cute and comfortable.

We have been traveling all around Europe for 2 months and this is the first place that charged a fee for every towel and also required us to make our own beds on arrival. We found this to be a bit quirky. (One dish towel and a bath mat were the only ones included in the rental fee). We also arrived to only about half a roll of toilet paper. We could have possibly requested more but likely would have been charged and it was about a 15 minute walk to the office to pick up so it didn’t seem worth it. We bought our own toilet paper and left it behind for the next guests. Lastly, the key pickup/drop-off location was a bit inconvenient due to the 15 min walk from the actual apartment. It would have been even better with a lock box on site. All that said, we would stay here again as there were so many other positives about the place.

As we arrived late and left early, as ferry foot passengers, it was a nightmare collecting and dropping off the key. We arrived late and had to walk (with luggage) a long way to collect the key from the key safe at the office. There were no taxis/buses and the key wasn’t accessible at the apartment. We then had to repeat this when we left. This obviously wouldn’t have been an issue if there had been a key safe at the apartment or we’d have had a car.

La salle de bain avec une douche peu pratique et une robinetterie en mauvais état. La gestion du prestataire de conciergerie : Un accueil inexistant. Pas de contact téléphonique ou direct. Tapis de douche et alèse de lit en intissé, Même pas un morceau de savon et un rouleau de papier toilette pour 6… quand on passe 2/3 jours on a pas envie d’avoir à gérer tout ça. Augmentez votre tarif de quelques euros si nécessaire. Et enfin peu d’informations sur la ville et ses alentours ou conseils et bons plans pour se restaurer comme on trouve souvent dans les locations.
