Islander on the Beach 309 - Studio

This property was just gorgeous! The grounds are impeccably kept and we delighted in finding different plants at every turn. It’s a short walk to the beach although the surf was a little more than we were comfortable with. But a great place to sit and relax! The view? Breath taking! The sunrise the first morning was picture perfect. We also loved being able to walk to Coconut Marketplace for breakfasts and dinners.

I just hadn’t put it together that we would be on the top floor and were a little disappointed that we had to lug all our bags up three flights.

Location and views were great! Room was clean and had what we needed.

Confusion with private owned unit vs resort units. Condo is privately owned and therefore staff in lobby were not able to be helpful with requests. Had a hard time getting our parking pass because it was supposed to be left in our room and finally got them to give us one. Couldn't get a couple extra coffee pods and woman at front desk said she would be fired if she gave us some. So just be aware that services at the front desk are only for people who book direct through resort. Staff at bar by pool were great. Unit provided everything we needed, it was just weird feeling like we could not ask front desk much.
