Good proximity to Peschiera and Lake Garda. Apartment clean, and pool area was nice and well-maintained. However it should be explained that the two upstairs bedrooms have extremely limited height and low rafters also making the utility area and bathroom hard to access. The apartment is on the third floor with a lot of steps. There is only one set of keys so we had to keep going downstairs to let each other in and out. Description says that it sleeps 7 but only 2 sunbeds are available and these were broken. There are two balconies but they overlook a supermarket and petrol station/main road although this is probably the price you pay for being central! The main balcony had too few furniture cushions and the awning was broken so we couldn’t sit in the shade. When we stayed there was a local problem with cars being raced around until 1 or 2 am so if you have young children it may be too noisy. Other niggles: the shower tray blocked and overflowed (there is only one shower for all guests) but this was dealt with quickly. There was a constantly flashing lightbulb in the bathroom. There was no hanging space for dresses so I used hooks on the back of the door. The limited hanging space in the main bedroom had a rail was about 8 feet high. There are very few power sockets and the upstairs rooms didn’t fit UK plug adaptors so I had to buy power banks. In the main bedroom there are none next to the bed and no reading light. OK but compromises for a relatively expensive property.

Only a 20-minute car journey from the airport, the property was in a superb location to visit the town centre by foot and a short walk to the station. Communication with the owner was excellent and check-in was easy, facilitated by a helpful video. Soon after arriving we identified a problem with the electrics which kept shorting when the kettle was used. Despite some attention from an electrician, the issue remained during our stay - we elected to live with it for the duration of our holiday and notified the owner so it could be investigated further on our departure. The pool area was fantastic and we often enjoyed it to ourselves. However, having been advertised as 'exceptional', the flat could have been better equipped - there was only one bath towel and one hand towel per person and, for an apartment big enough to accommodate up to six people, we could have done with extra crockery (specifically mugs). There were also only two sun loungers available, both of which were in a state of disrepair, forcing us to buy some beach towels so we could lie comfortably poolside. Finally, I would also have been beneficial to know that the upstairs bedroom/bathroom had restricted head height.

Everything is clean and new, there are child gates on the stairs which we found helpful. AC was very welcome during our stay when the weather was in the 90s every day. Thanks!
