The house was clean and comfortable and Coastal Joe was awesome! We stayed with five kids and two adults and really liked the layout of the home, privacy, being close to the beach (great view!!). The good:Very clean inside.The decks were amazing. We could see dolphins swim by from the top deck and were close enough to the beach to run down to the ocean to see them closer up. A few reviews mention the first floor air conditioning not keeping up. They must have fixed this as we had no problem.The pool is enjoyable but we did need to heat it even though we’re from the Bold North and have never needed to heat a pool in April/May in CSB before. I think the location of it prevents the sun from warming it as much in the Spring as other places we’ve stayed. It was worth heating.Walking to the beach is quick! You basically have no neighbors. Lots of privacy.Good to know:No “extras” like sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels are provided.Road noise on the deck can get intense during busy times and you do have power lines in front of your view of the Gulf.The kitchen provides for basic needs and there are plenty of plates, cups, utensils, pots and pans, but there are no spices, blender, mixer, etc.Being on the Bay side, I thought we would have a good view of the sunrise, but there are just two smaller windows to see it.Working with Coastal Joe was great! We had a couple of small things pop up and they quickly responded and took care of it.

Beautiful place to stay! So clean! The view was fantastic. Perfect location! Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. Definitely will stay again.

We stayed with 8 girls and the house was perfect for us. Everything was clean and nice. The walk to the beach is super close and the beach is very quiet which was amazing! There is a pool but the house blocks the sun so it was in the shade most of the day. This made it cold and we didn’t want to pay the heating fee so we did not use it much. The balcony and patio area was great for the sunset and eating dinner too! The only thing we struggled with was there was no full length mirror. But besides that it was great and we would love to come back!

Let me start by saying the company who manages the home was very communicative and responsive through text before we got there... we added damage insurance etc. and they were super helpful. However, once we got to the home and I sent them photos of issues, there was no communication at all. When we got there the bench to the dining room table was broken...if you sat on it you were going over and it was large... we had a toddler that we had to keep away from it and we didn't have enough seating at the table without it. Also, a chair in the living room was broken. I sent photos of both with no reply. Mainly wanted to make sure they didn't blame on us. On our first day, we found three large roaches on the top floor of the home... I sent photos with no reply. We found more than a few more during our stay. The biggest issue was the lack of air in the bedroom on the first floor. My husband and I stayed in that bedroom because we thought it would be best for an infant based on noise etc. That room stayed about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the home and was SO humid. Neither of us slept well the whole week. I had seen this issue in earlier reviews so I called the week before to make sure it had been fixed and they assured me it had, but it has definitely not been fixed. I am not sure if the unit is just not big enough for the home or what. We still had fun and the home had plenty of room and kids enojoyed porches, pool and beach but I would not go back.
