everything was definitely not like the pics at all it was very dated unclean scruffy looking smelt of damp we left after 10 minutes as we felt it was unhealthy for my children to stay at the property

Whole experience from start to finish with booking.com has been a disaster will never use again

Horrible smell in kitchen. Plug sockets in front room not working. Pool table ( used as a upselling point ) was unusable no tips on cues no chalk. I wouldn’t let my children use it for fear of chipping a ball and being charged. No real family seating in front room lots of dinning chairs but no real seating to relax on. These issues were raised with the manager but nothing done and no refund or compensation offered

Worked well for what we needed

The house met basic needs as somewhere to crash for the night while visiting Manchester for a concert. Communication with host around house rules was clear.

Rooms were okay but beds weren’t comfy. It was a little stressful to have to wait until <30 mins before arrival to be provided with the key code. Description of bedroom 3 on website is incorrect - it only has a cot, not a bed (luckily I checked this with the host prior to our visit).

We like the bedroom, toilet and kitchen.

The lounge setting, too many chairs and not family friendly. Dining table in the lounge, not needed. Property too small to accommodate 8people.

Dreadful, avoid at all costs

Nothing - AVOID!!! this house is appalling, holes in the walls, unkept back garden with rubbish strewned around the garden, fag butts everywhere, kitchen was not clean, kitchen cupboards unsafe the doors were loose and hanging off, dirty bath / shower, curtains were all closed very dark home, but as soon as you open the curtains you realise why they were shut, carpets horrible, dirty, everything just is cheap and chucked together. Kitchen sides are damaged, and to advertise “games” there was one monopoly - darts (material hanging in kitchen with magnetic darts) not proper darts and for the pool it’s a dining table that lifts off to a pool table but no room to play pool in the room!! The place and the owner of this property is a joke, Made for a very stressful time with children trying to find somewhere else to stay on a Saturday evening ! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Very basic property, Won’t be returning.

Property was very basic with very limited furnishings around the property, does not look as shown on the images. Prepare to be disappointed on arrival. Heating did not work around the property so was very cold. Parking is non-existent, you have to park your car on a very narrow street so to say parking at the property is a big understatement.

Wouldn’t recommend

We had a few issues: - I would not call this “3 bedrooms”, it was essentially “2 bedrooms”, with a box room, (with no bed or heating) - There was no bedding for this “bedroom” - We asked for a simple duvet, we were later visited when we stepped out for dinner, receiving a text that the heating will be turned off, so we returned to a cold house! - Worst of all, we were told checkout was 10am, a cleaner arrived at 10:01 but because it took under 10 minutes for us to load our car up, the owner texted me threatening to take money of our deposit for this!! - One toilet for 8 people was not ideal, the house was overall quite small, the road was very narrow and cramped, very difficult to park and reverse Most of all, the owner’s were very unprofessional. I received rude text messages and wasn’t welcomed very well when I expressed concerns over the bedding and lack of heating. Overall, poor
