Alles was aanwezig ondanks dat het een klein appartement was. Het centrum was 5 minuten lopen.
De entree van het complex en lift roken niet fris.

The location is just optimal, whether you choose this property for: - business (close proximity to the rail station and major road transportation hub, also easy access to the airport via TUA AirLink), - relaxation and shopping (basically you are in the center, just a 5 minutes' walk to the main pedestrian high street with lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, fashion stores, etc.) - or a beach holiday, as we had (500 meters to the beach promenade where you've got a myriad of beach options to chose from). The apartment is located on the 6th floor and the building itself is civilised, with discreet and quiet neighbours. I particularly liked the approx. 3 meter high ceiling, which gives an extra volume to the inside space. Cleanliness is one of the property's strengths. Beds are super comfy and there are nice features like smart TV with Youtube, Netflix (log in with your own account), hairdryer in the bathroom, good quality wi-fi, AC and modern IKEA-style furniture. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, which we didn't use, because we didn't want to buy from the supermarkets (there's a couple of them very close - Penny and Tigre) and eat inside just like at home, while missing out on the amazing food scene Pescara has to offer, well, that would have been a major loss. We've only bought some great Italian beers from Tigre to refresh and cool off after a full day in Pescara's hot sun. There's a very mixed and diverse population in the area of the apartment, also reflected in the shops' thematic on the ground floor of the building and of the buildings around, which surprised me in the beginning, as I was expecting a higher share of Italians. However, despite such varied cultural backgrounds, all people seem to get along very well and they are all really friendly. As a consequence, safety in the area is not a problem, not even at night.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is a major road of the city, that's for sure. While gazing out of the window to admire the snowy mountains or to let yourself absorbed in the Italian flow of traffic which itself is like a form of moving art may feel like a relaxing pastime, it must be noted that there is quite a noise level, also audible with closed windows. The good part is that after midnight, the noise drops significantly and a good night's sleep is guaranteed up until 6-7 a.m., when it all comes to life for a new day, with planes flying, road traffic bursting again and heavy freight trains passing by on the railway 300 meters away. Then, maybe not everyone is so obsessively thoughtful of the objects around us, but an extra care is needed in the bathroom, as there is wooden flooring, which is known to be sensitive to water and moisture. In the room and on the hallway, there's a nice ceramic tile flooring. If you ask me, I would have installed ceramic tiles everywhere, except for the bedroom, where a wooden flooring is typically more appropriate, but anyway it looks very nice as it is. Another aspect to be noted is that there are hardly any storage racks or shelving. If you see things rigidly, you may be upset about this, but if you come here with fun in mind, this is a situation that challenges creativity and forces you to improvise alternative solutions. For me, it all worked fine, after all. To be honest, these small inconveniences were really small in the end and overall we had a great experience at Pescara 2.0

Excellent placement vs the central station, which is what I needed. The host was nice and responsive. Generally nice place.
Unfortunately, there was a faint smell of mold in the place. The place was clearly cleaned thoroughly, so my guess is that it was an effect of no use for some time.
