The house was truly outstanding, we were a family of 10 and it was fantastic. Coming in from walks with 6 adults and 4 kids and two dogs, the hallway was so spacious, places for walking boots and hooks galore for waterproofs and coats etc and prams, The layout was exceptional, particularly the basement room, open plan for cooking and spending time together and the hot tub was amazing, a definite plus, we had so much use out of it, we loved it. Every room had an en-suite, beds were so comfortable and the furnishings were quality, we would highly recommend this to any large group or family, our stay was superb, great location, couldn’t of asked for anymore!!
Could of done with some milk on arrival in the fridge, but that’s the only thing.

Perfect for our large family group. Downstairs open plan dining/kitchen/lounge/outdoor space was great.
Location was excellent for the two centres bowness and Windermere. Great choice of cafes pubs and shops 10 mins walk.
Two kitchens was slightly odd but did work ok.

The house was good for our Family reunion we came from as far south as Farnborough and as far north as Stranraer S W Scotland the house was over 4 floors my room was at the top beautiful big room with Bath loved it , 2sitting rooms one of them as you came in front door other one was in basement with Kitchen/Dining room lovey bifold doors out to back ti the Hot Tub and seating area , we spent most of our time I there in the sitting room/KitchenDining area ,there is also a games room with pool table and Darts board will definitely return with my Family
There were couple of rooms but on small side for Double beds and having to stand on bed to get to open windows & the showers in theses rooms NOT VERY BIG

Fabulous stay at Rosemount, can’t recommend it enough! So much space and the facilities were fab! Our group never felt on top of one another, and having the use of two living areas was a bonus! All bedrooms have en-suites too. Two kitchens meant plenty of space of food and cooking facilities, and plenty of equipment too. Hot tub was fab to use. Location is perfect, in the middle of Windermere and I would say a 15 minute walk into the south side of the town which was perfect. Would 100% come back.
A lot of stairs which we didn’t realise, 5 floors in total which could have been explained in the description of the house. Wasn’t a huge problem for us but just a prewarn.
Could have fans for the summer months? That would have been great!
