The owner provides a warm welcome and clear directions, ensuring a smooth arrival. The location is truly picturesque, facilitating a genuine sense of disconnection from urban life. The garden's natural surroundings, with only distant glimpses of the owner's property and the far-off city, contribute significantly to the peaceful atmosphere. The inclusion of a jacuzzi and BBQ adds considerable value to the guest experience. While the property provides a charming retreat, a few minor points are worth noting for future guests. The accommodation appeared slightly more spacious in photographs than in reality, and the dining area proved somewhat compact for two individuals. The presence of a lovely fireplace is a notable feature, though seating is limited to the floor area for those wishing to enjoy its warmth directly. Additionally, the toilet door does not offer complete closure, and the odour from the camper-style toilet became noticeable by the second day. Finally, some dust accumulation was observed, likely due to frequent coming and going, and the provision of a dustpan would be a beneficial addition to maintaining cleanliness. Despite these minor drawbacks, the unique appeal of this property, particularly its proximity to London and its ability to provide a genuine escape into nature, makes it a highly desirable option. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the difficulty in finding comparable accommodations so close to the city. We intend to return, equipped with a better understanding of the layout and amenities.

Lovely place

The hot tub was amazing. The cabin was comfortable and had everything u need. TV with lots of channels. Air fryer, stove was really great. The views where great.

The toilet situation, if u went to the toilet you could smell it for the rest of your stay. Not great at all. Also plant pot every where, I understand its winter but removing dead plants and tidy up would of looked alot better . Cups where dirty when we went to use them.

The shepherds hut is beautiful, so cosy! It was spotlessly clean, had everything you needed, very comfy bed!! The host was very friendly & helpful, fantastic communication & instructions to property. 10/10 had a brilliant stay.

We did struggle with the eco toilet but it wasn’t a major issue.

Lovely and private. Hot tub was very hot. Cozy when you have the fire on

It was absolutely freezing shivering arctic cold in the morning. They need to supply a much thicker duvet in the winter months, or a lot of extra blankets. We woke at 6am due to feeling like ice
