Hilltop Houses

Eine neuwertige moderne Unterkunft die für mich keine Wünsche offen ließ. Sie liegt ruhig etwas außerhalb von Kefalos, man ist aber in 7 min im Zentrum. Ja, wenn man draussen sitzt, hört man die Windräder. Das ist dann in etwa so wie man die Waschmaschine im Keller hört. Die Gewöhnung war ganz schnell da, es hat mich nicht gestört.

Schöne abgelegene Unterkunft mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Bei der Ankunft haben wir einen gefüllten Kühlschrank (Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Melone, Eier) und einen leckeren Kuchen vorgefunden, sodass wir mit einer guten Tasse Kaffee in den Urlaub starten konnten. Das war toll. 2 Badezimmer (1x unten, 1x oben). Alles war sauber und das Haus lädt zum Verweilen ein. Parkplätze vorhanden, das Areal ist umzäunt. Die Fenster haben Fliegengitter. Strandhandtücher sind vorhanden.

Eine Spülmaschine wäre das i-Tüpfelchen. Die Betten waren für uns zu hart. Leider nur ein kleines einfaches Küchenmesser vorhanden. Sonst alles gut ausgestattet.

Everything worked perfect for us as a family with a small kid. A peaceful location, well equiped kitchen, beautiful view from the terrace (perfect for family meals), nice to have a walk around the area (unless bird hunting was going on!), a swing for the kids in front of the house, a washing machine, everything in the house was in great condition. We didn't use the AC since it was windy and not too hot (in September). Since the location is a bit far from the crowds, we would recommend to rent a car to be able to access Kefalos and nice spots on the coast. The last part of the road to the houses is unpaved, but not too hard on the car to drive.

It was not a big problem for us, but since there were some very windy days during our stay, the wind turbines were quite loud at times - constant humming in the background. And there was bird hunting going on during our stay (mid September), so some local guys told us not to walk around the area to be safe. That was good to know (but we only randomly found out about it)! What we would appretiate from the hosts, but managed to found out ourselves - perhaps some more info on stuff like local bird hunting season, trash collection.. bonus knowledge for the first time Kos-Kefalos visitors! :)

Ci è piaciuto tutto dall’accoglienza al soggiorno. All’arrivo abbiamo trovato un dolce il caffè in capsule con la macchinetta, burro, marmellata, miele, fette biscottate, uova, pane da toast acqua e una bottiglia di vino come benvenuto. Apprezzato tantissimo. Appartamento pulitissimo con bucato ancora profumato, rispecchia perfettamente le foto pubblicate. Batteria da cucina nuovissima (da non sottovalutare) crema da corpo, shampoo e bagno doccia. Insomma non mancava nulla .Terrazzo unico nella sua bellezza e arredato con gusto e soprattutto la disponibilità dell’host velocissimo nel rispondere alle nostre richieste. All’arrivo Comodissimo il Transfer con il taxi dall’aeroporto alla struttura

All’inizio quando siamo arrivati ci era sembrato troppo isolato ma poi abbiamo apprezzato il silenzio e la posizione.
