Luxury Apartment in Old Town

Locatie was perfect. Dicht bij de bezienswaardigheden en genoeg eetgelegen in de buurt. En het is een heel groot en ruim appartement.

Het bed in de kleine kamer. Die kamer is klein en het bed niet comfortabel.

The location was excellent and within easy walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transportation, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. Despite being right in the heart of everything, the apartment was surprisingly quiet once the windows were closed, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. At the rear of the property was a charming little courtyard with a welcoming neighborhood feel, which was a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The accommodation itself was spacious, providing plenty of room to unwind, and the full kitchen was a great feature that made it easy to prepare meals when we didn't want to eat out. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that because there is no air conditioning, the apartment can become quite warm during the summer. While closing the windows does an excellent job of blocking out the city noise, it also limits airflow, making the apartment noticeably hotter on warm days. This may not be an issue during cooler months, but it is something to consider if you're visiting in the summer.

There were a few aspects of the stay that could be improved. Although the property was advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, the second bedroom was extremely small and could realistically only accommodate a child. The space was also quite difficult to move around in. I'm fairly nimble, yet I still found it challenging, so I imagine it would be especially difficult for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The lack of air conditioning made the apartment very uncomfortable during the hot summer weather. Only a few towels were provided, and there were no toiletries available. Another inconvenience was the key collection and return process. We had to walk about 15 minutes to a separate lockbox location to pick up the keys and then return there again after check-out. At most other places I've stayed, keys can simply be left at the property when departing. Communication could also have been better, as responses were not always particularly friendly or helpful. Overall, the apartment was adequate and we had an acceptable stay, but these issues affected the overall experience.
