Maria est venu nous chercher à la gare de train !

Wie haben hier am Vorabend des Abfluges aus Catania genächtigt. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und vor dem Haus gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze (allerdings ungesichert, Koffer haben wir rausgenommen). Unten im Haus ist eine Pizzeria. Für eine Nacht logistisch genau richtig und daher für uns OK.

Nicht die feinste Gegend, aber für uns Ok.

Close to the airport

The neighbourhood is not the nicest but for 1 night before flying it is good!

The host is very kind regarding flexibility of check in and in overall very nice lady. She is so great she should deserve managing a hotel in a much nicer area. The property is Very close to the airport if you are using a car, that was the only reason we picked it. Cheapest - cleanest (room) ratio in that area. Parking is great.

The surrounding of the flat is unpleasant as there is trash everywhere, loud groups of people, a busy post office next to the flat entrance. But i guess this is typical in Sicily in larger flat like residential areas. As the apartment is on the first floor there was some kind of construction around it. The main entrance door to the flat which accommodates few apartments is squeaking and you can hear it.The door into our apartment was very thin. I cannot imagine staying at the place more than one night.
