Hotel Springs Makuhari Premier

Relaxing stay. Staff were attentive and friendly. Premier guest lounge was very useful.

The hotel is conveniently relocated near the train station, the Garden walk Outlet and got many restsurants nearby. The rooms are quite new.. The lounge is open from breakfast till 10 PM. It is a plus.

We stayed in this hotel after our day at Disneyland. It was a great stop prior to our flight the next day! We managed to grab a late dinner at eateries opened late into the night nearby the hotel after checking in. Chains open till late include Sushiro and some Izakaya shops. Next morning, we checked out after we slept in and went shopping at the nearby Outlet mall which is within walking distance. There were tons of options for lunch and after lunch, we made our way back to the hotel which has a direct express bus to Narita. Excellent pit stop before flight… for food and shopping. Highly recommended!!

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Given the price, I expected much better service. Positives: Room: Clean and new. Location:Excellent—just a 3-minute walk to the JR line, with plenty of food and shopping options nearby. Luggage Service:They stored our luggage when we arrived early and allowed us to retrieve it late at night. Negatives: Check-in Experience: The receptionist was polite but did not offer any drinks, even though the Premier Lounge was supposed to provide refreshments from 10 AM to 3 PM. This lack of hospitality set the tone for our stay. Room Issues: - No in-room phone. Guests must go to the lift area to access one. - No bottled water. Guests must walk to a dispenser at the end of the hall. While Japan’s tap water is potable, most 5-star hotels still provide bottled water. Service Issues: - Upon checkout, we asked them to store our luggage so we can explore the city for a little bit more. Upon our return, I asked for a glass of water. The receptionist refused, stating we had already checked out. This lack of basic hospitality was disappointing. After some time I asked another staff and he allowed it but closely monitored me to ensure we only took water, not juice. - I requested a simple birthday setup for my son twice but received no response. The night receptionist, however, was much more accommodating and wished him a happy birthday. ### Final Verdict: This hotel does not live up to its 5-star rating. For the price, staying at a Disneyland hotel would have been a far better choice—better facilities, friendlier staff, and more thoughtful service. There are much better options available in the area.
