Welcome to SERENITY COVE, a peaceful lakefront vacation rental home on Shumont Lake in beautiful Lake Lure, NC. This home was not impacted by Helene and offers access to Rumbling Bald amenities. Professionally managed, cleaned and linens provided. 4 Bedrooms, 4-1/2 baths. Sleeps 10.
Leave your worries behind and start enjoying great outdoor spaces and activities including wrap-around screen porch, outdoor seating area, private dock to fish or swim from, firepit, bocce ball court, and use of paddle board, kayak, canoe, Inflatable boat. Shumont Lake is a useable lake to swim, fish, use watercrafts post Helene. It is a private, non-motorized lake, so a fishing license is not required.
As guests of Serenity Cove you’ll have access to Rumbling Bald amenities (10 Guest Passes are provided. Children under12 don't need a pass). Enjoy the many Rumbling Bald amenities- two championship 18-hole golf courses, driving ranges, restaurants/lounges, outdoor pool with lazy river, indoor pool, whirlpool, steam and dry saunas, fitness center, spa with massage therapist and salon, 18-hole miniature golf course, lighted tennis courts, pickle-ball, basketball court and more. Enjoy kayaking, fishing and swimming in warm weather, golfing and hiking all year round.

MAIN LEVEL: Serenity Cove features an easy access Front Entry; large, level Parking Area for 3+ vehicles; Great Room; fully equipped, updated Kitchen; Dining Area plus Breakfast Bar with additional seating; Master Bedroom with private Bath. Great Room has a gas fireplace (Oct 1-May 1), flat screen Smart TV and plenty of seating. Great Room, Dining Area, Screen Porch overlook Shumont Lake. Large wrap-around Screen Porch with game table, tables for outdoor dining and relaxing seating. Master Bedroom has King bed and Private Bath with walk-in shower and separate tub. Sitting/TV room adjacent to the Dining Area has a Twin sleeper-sofa. Powder Room just off the Entry Foyer serves the Main Level.
UPPER LEVEL: Loft Area overlooking the Great Room; 2 Bedrooms, each with a King Bed, Smart TV, and Private Bath with walk-in shower. The Loft has Twin sleeper sofa, comfy seating, and is perfect for relaxing and reading. One of the King Bedroom Baths is also accessed from the Loft.
LOWER LEVEL: Large TV/Games/yard games/fishing poles/basketball arcade shot game, Smart TV, access to the Patio and Back Yard. The level Back Yard has Bocce Ball court, Fire Pit area with seating, Private Dock. There’s also comfortable patio seating, gas grill (propane provided) and a Basket Ball hoop.
