Rooms with a View Lake Lure has it all! The lake is reopening in Memorial Day weekend 2026!! Enjoy the lake view from this luxury home!! There are plenty of fun things to do with family and friends at the house, including outdoor fire pit, hot tub, pool & foosball tables, video games, corn hole boards, etc.
This luxury home, built in 2007, has been completely updated in 2017 with additional improvements in 2020, new hardwood flooring, fresh paint, electric car charger, wood/tile floors, newly added in-suite bathrooms, updated kitchen with new appliances, granite countertops and all new furniture. Outdoor environment is exquisite, including new patio furniture, 6 person hot tub, large fire pit and outdoor shower.
The inside of the home is very spacious, main level has fully stocked kitchen with magnificent view of lake & mountains, including Chimney Rock. Large table seats 8 with additional seating in the bar and at kitchen counter. Bar/sunroom area has seating for 7 with a high def flat screen TV for game days. Master suite has large bathroom with soaking tub, double vanity and beautiful tile shower, king size bed and daybed, perfect for families with little ones. Top floor is a 2 bedroom suite with in-suite bathrooms and privacy door at hallway access point, loft with spectacular Mountain View and sleeper sofa for additional guests. The basement is completely finished with tile floors, custom wood trim, wet bar, beverage fridge, microwave, 2 bedroom suite, large full bathroom with double vanity, nice tile shower, large sectional sofa with 60 inch flat screen for movie night, pool table, foosball table and multi-game retro standup arcade game. Your kids are going to love it! Basement has spectacular Mountain View and walks out to the beautiful patio and fenced in yard with hot tub, fire pit & outdoor shower. Corn Hole boards also on site for your use. Spacious main level deck has amazing views of Lake Lure and the mountains, including Chimney Rock. Community has private dock/boat slips with lake access, just drive or walk around 2 blocks to enjoy the waters of Lake Lure. Parking is available at the pier for your trailer along with wet slips (boat launch not available at this pier, but very close by). Boat rentals can be delivered to our pier and kept at the neighborhood pier to use and store during your stay, on a first come first serve basis.
The home is large enough for the big family vacation and cozy enough for the 3 or 4 couple weekend. All three levels are setup for privacy and comfort while enjoying your family vacation.
Parking is no problem! Large driveway connects to oversize 2 car garage with electric car charger. Additional parking available behind the home.
**Dogs are welcome and there is a $150 pet fee with 2 dog maximum. Please click "traveling with pets" when searching/making reservation to apply pet fee. Backyard is fenced in, but we require that you do cleanup after your pet in backyard!**

The house was beautiful, spotless, and provided a huge space for our family to spread out and enjoy. The fireplace and outdoor fire pit were perfect. The bedrooms and furnishings are very nice, and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to cook for a large group. We had to leave early unfortunately, due to a big storm, but the host reached out to coordinate with us and was very accommodating. I can’t recommend this house enough. We will be back!

It's rare that a property is as good or better than the listing, but Hank and Pam's beautiful home absolutely is! It was clean, thoughtful, and well laid out. We stayed here as a group of 10 women looking for rest and relaxation and boy did this hit the mark! Plenty of room to spread out, but also plenty of common spaces to come together. We are already scheming out next trip back to not just the Lake Lure area, but this specific rental! What a wonderful spot. My only note is the area is quite winding, and the specific neighborhood roads/driveway is very very steep. We didn't realize this coming in and were a little concerned, though it was fine overall. The steep driveway and many stairs may be a concern for very young children, otherwise it was extremely family friendly (even fenced in yard). Thank you for a fantastic visit. We will be back!

Beautiful, family-friendly home with a lovely view of the lake and surrounding foothills. Perfect spot for a relaxing visit with family! Spacious areas to gather both on the main floor as well as the lower level, well-appointed kitchen, a plethora of bathrooms and a hot tub with a view.

Hank and Pam were the best host! The house was perfect for our crew! Lots of space and had everything we needed...fully stocked! They communicated quickly and answered all my questions.
