So nice! We really enjoyed our stay here! So close to the lake and golf course. Loved walking around the lake and enjoyed the wonderful cool weather.Great condo with a beautiful view ofLake Fairfield by Camp Merrie Wood.

The property is located in hilly area but with beautiful views. Close to downtown Cashiers and the opposite way is Gorges State Park. Nice drive to Highlands too.Be aware that there are a lot of steps from the car to the condo and steep hills when walking up or down the road. There is a fabulous walking path around Fairfield Lake right at the bottom of the road. The weather was nice and cool and comfortable in the afternoon. If you're looking for a quiet get away this is your place. And the neighbors were very nice and friendly.

We have stayed at Fairfield Lake in other condos and love the charm of the Lake, the walking trails, and peaceful setting. This condo while accurate in pictures, unfortunately had some issues that made for a less than ideal stay, especially at the price point. First the beds were very uncomfortable and hard, and caused both my husband and I to toss and turn. We ended leaving a day early to avoid another night. The bar seating was almost unusable because the couch was so close to the barstools and all the seating at tables and the bar were wood chairs that were not comfortable. Additionally the lighting almost universally was extra harsh cool white LED that was almost painful to look at.
