Upon arrival, we could not find house rules. Dishes were found improperly loaded into the dishwasher instead of in the cabinet - so had to reload/rewash dishes to use them. Guest queen room smelled like smoke: bed and closet. Closets had clothes/shoes; dirty linens. Showers had empty toiletry bottles. Master shower had a broken door handle. Thermostats were on a schedule that ran 77 degrees at night and 40 degrees during the day. Beds were FIRM foam mattresses - felt like a plank. Couches were uncomfortable.Owner was responsive - sent cleaning crew back to house to deal with closets.Felt the failures were on the cleaning crew NOT on the owner/property. The property served our needs even if it was uncomfortable.
