This hotel is really gorgeous and the decor is amazing, the rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was one of the best pools and was deep at one side which was fantastic. The shuttle bus stop right at the hotel door is great to take you in to town (30 minutes ) and the front desk staff were helpful! The biggest let down for us was the food, we went all inclusive and I wouldn’t pay for this again, food choices were very limited especially to us as an Irish couple, I feel anyone from northwest Europe, America etc would struggle with the food. I think the buffet system doesn’t suit this hotel and a normal restaurant would’ve been great- even just the option . The bar staff outside by the pool were not friendly or welcoming especially to all inclusive staff it felt as though they were much more pleasant to those without the all inclusive package which was strange. There aren’t very many dining options or bars nearby also. The walk to the beach was good! Lastly, the hotel entertainment would have been great but on our nights was all in French so it was hard to join in on this.

Left a day early, it was that BAD. This is a 2 star hotel quality at best. Firstly we were charged by the hotel after having paid in full on Hotels.com. We went back two days in a row to try get it sorted - and a few days later they have not refunded - still trying to secure a refund for the incorrect payment. The photos are very deceiving . There is a very very strong sewer / chemical smell in the room that lead to all of us feeling sick with a sore throat. Room is very run down and dirty. Found a teaspoon in the shower when we checked in, marks on walls, marks on floor - coffee cups were dirty. The garden view unit is a patio looking out on to a back alley with rat traps. Would not recommend for the price.

My recent stay. While my experience wasn't entirely negative, there were a few aspects that I believe could be improved. I would prefer not to leave a negative public review, but I wanted to share my thoughts directly. I was particularly disappointed with the situation regarding the room safe and air conditioning. Upon arrival, I was initially informed that the air conditioning could not be turned on for the first two days of my stay. It wasn't until late on the third day that I was told the system could be rebooted and activated, which was eventually done. I also encountered an issue with the room safe, which seemed poorly maintained. I requested assistance at reception and was given a key, but it was the wrong one. It took two days to resolve this issue and get access to the safe. On a positive note, the food was really good. However, the drinks machines were quite poor; for example, the Pepsi tasted very watered down. I would also like to commend the staff, who were always polite and very helpful, especially regarding our additional needs. As my mum has disabilities, they assisted us in arranging wheelchair hire from a local company and purchasing a walking stick, which was greatly appreciated. My biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. I never went for a swim during my entire stay because the pool did not appear very clean. I understand that they may have been trying to clean

The only complaint, and it was NOT the fault of the hotel - our view was spectacular, but due to it's direction never got the sun. So, felt a little cold and dark. But this is only a minor quibble. The hotel is awesome and the food selection was incredible! One other thing. I did not like that there was only one beer option - and it was not really very good beer.

I have booked this hotel mainly due to the fact that has been recently renovated. I have to say that overall the hotel looks nice but not enough to justify the price paid. We had a garden view room and the level of cleanliness was not the best. Upon entering, we found the toilet seat with a darker stain that wouldn’t come off even after cleaning, and some hair on the wall near the sink. On the last day, there was a worm crawling in the room, probably coming in from the garden even though we never left the window open. But the worst thing was when we hung our beach towels to dry on the terrace rack. In the morning, we found them on the ground, soaked with cat urine. There are many stray cats on the island, and many of them stay near the hotel. We informed the hotel, but they don’t have a laundry service. They gave us used beach towels that they use for the pool instead. The room door does not block the noise from the corridor. Early in the morning, you can be woken up by the sounds of other guests talking. Breakfast has a good variety of sweet/salty food but not high quality. I'd prefer a smaller variety of food but higher quality.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are 5 star standard. The hotel is very clean Staff are incredibly friendly. The food is fresh and traditional The all inclusive Drinks are poor, watered down. They use local alcohol that isn’t good at all. The soft drinks are watered down too. The cocktails are terrible. Other that the hotel is lovely. Close to everything

We did not like this hotel the food choice was the worst we’ve ever seen on all Inclusive, drinks are watered down, ice cream and pancakes only at certain times of the day , and staff got very abrupt when anyone ent to get something earlier. You have to Pay extra for coffee, tea, milkshakes, slush. Very poor hotel would Not recommend.

Hotel not good, 3/5 at best, food ok-ish. Mosquitoes in the room, hence bitten all over body, some blistered. Reception ladies were very good as were the cleaners. Some waiters at dinner tended to hover around the tables and taking plates prior to finishing meal.

We have just returned from 10 nights all inclusive at the Magna Graecia. We were welcomed after arriving off a late flight. The member of staff was very welcoming and the check in process was quick. We were helped to our room with our luggage. Unfortunately our room was disappointing and not what we had booked through Expedia. After breakfast in the morning I spoke to the receptionist about this and I was given a key to view a different room. It was perfect so we were moved over. They was no problem about this. The food was lovely, lots of delicious Greek cuisine. We were travelling as a family with a 5 year old and 11 month old and there was always plebty for everyone to eat. We particularly enjoyed the freshly made crepes and croissants. The hotel was spotless, the staff work very hard! The pool bar serve drinks, snacks and ice cream. Again , plenty for everyone. There is a kids club but it didn't seem well used and we didn't use it. But there weren't many children when we were there. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming too. I had a full body massage at the hotel spa. Bargain at €25 for 60 minutes. It was amazing and a perfect way to spend the morning! There are quite a lot of steps around the hotel, but as it is built on a hill, it's not surprising. We had our daughter in a buggy and managed fine. We would recommend this hotel, it was reasonably priced and we had a wonderful holiday there

Me and my two friends decided last year to book a nice long weekend away as we do every year usually Spain but thought we would try something different this year Big mistake. When we arrived sat night we was told the hotel had been over booked and we would have to stay in the sister hotel over the road as it turned out it was Greek easter and it was full of Greeks. In the sister hotel we were in the basement of a grotty room which could possible have been staff quarters. Next morning we got up and went back to Magna graecia to be told rooms would be ready about 12 which they was but as I'd booked a superior sea view room and was told for the inconvenience we would be upgraded to a suite which we wasn't and we could Bearley see the sea. Very disappointed as we was only stopping till early hrs Tuesday morning. Hotel was in middle of nowhere and not lively as I'd read quiet derelict area. Bar staff were lovely. Entertainment was only for the French. Just not as expected glad we didn't stop longer as nothing to do.
