The location could not be better. You step out of the door and you are in the old town of Menton: the Basilique Saint-Michel, the Marché des Halles, the seafront and the station area are all within easy reach, and during the music festival the Parvis Saint-Michel is essentially next door. The apartment itself is well presented, bright and clean, with a good bathroom and a comfortable bed. Check-in and check-out via the key box worked reliably, and communication with the local team was prompt and friendly.

Three practical points that future guests should know in advance: The building has a steep, narrow staircase and no lift. This is not a problem in itself, but it does mean large or heavy suitcases are genuinely difficult to get up and down. Anyone travelling with a big case, or anyone who walks slowly, should factor this in before booking. The air conditioning unit is in the living room only. It does cool the whole apartment adequately if you leave the internal doors open, but there is no separate unit in the bedroom, which is worth knowing in a Menton August. The electronic key system works, but it would help to have clearer instructions in advance on how it operates and where the key box is located, rather than having to ask.
