Many issues and an unhelpful owner

Location is the only upside

The property is on the 4th storey up a steep staircase so good luck if you have any luggage. The bin in the kitchen was broken and the lid didn't close so the property stunk. We raised this with the owner who said she would have it fixed the next day but she never did. There is no drain in the bathroom floor so the floor gets soaked whenever you use the shower. There is no hand towel in the bathroom - we asked for one but again there was no help from the owner. The air conditioning is old and very loud, so you basically can't use it at night if you plan on sleeping. Then they make you take all the trash and walk to a different street to put it in a public bin at the end of your stay which is the icing on the cake. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Overall, this was a good place to vacation.

The location was good the apartment was modern and clean. It was near to the Med.Sea; many stores, restaurants, etc near by. Because it was on the 4th floor, the balcony was a good place to sit and enjoy the surrounding views.

The accommodation included no silverware, but had adequate plates, glasses, etc. There was no information about operating the appliances. Also, this was a 4-floor walkup using a circular staircase with triangular shaped steps. You need to be very careful going up and down, especially with luggage.

Superb

The location is really good, few minutes walk to the beach and the shopping centre. Airconditioner is definitely a plus during these hot days! Amelia responded very quickly. We enjoyed our stay in Menton.

The apartment in on the top floor, without lift, lots of stairs to climb :( However you get a nice view after all the stairs:)

Petit appartement bien organisé, belle vue, pour sportifs

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’emplacement en plein centre, la vue, le fait que l’appartement soit relativement neuf, le calme, le confort des lits, le parking à disposition, ainsi que le service de gardiennage, qui a été un véritable atout.

Dans l’annonce, il n’était pas précisé que l’appartement se situait au 4ᵉ étage (avec des étages particulièrement hauts), mais seulement qu’il était « sans ascenseur ». Les chambres sont assez petites, dont l’une sans aucun rangement. La salle de bain présentait en permanence une odeur désagréable, probablement liée aux canalisations.

Séjour à Menton

Le logement est confortable. Il est très bien situé dans la vieille ville. La vue depuis le balcon est très jolie. La propriétaire est très sympathique et facilement joignable.

L'annonce précise bien que le logement se trouve au quatrième étage sans ascenseur. Il faut savoir que ce logement rénové se trouve dans une vieille bâtisse dont les parties communes sont peu entretenues. Ce sont des escaliers assez étroits et il faut compter 90 marches pour accéder au quatrième étage. Il vaut mieux être en forme physiquement et voyager léger. Côté vaiselle, il manque uniquement quelques verres.

Appartement idéalement placé en plein centre. Confortable et agréable.

Le fait de la difficulté d'accès à l'appartement n'était pas précisé dans la description. Escalier en colimaçon sur 4 étages impossible à monter pour une personne ayant des problèmes de marche. Les placards du fait de leur hauteur sont difficilement accessibles. Enfin il manquait une cafetière électrique, un égouttoir et un torchon en plus.
