The apartment had everything you need and spacious and comfortable .

The musty smell of old furniture and furnishings , no blackout for bedrooms .

The property was a fibro granny flat. It was central to shopping, restaurants and public transport. Communications with the owner were easy and the keys were easy to find. It was very spacious and clean. A little quirky in its layout and its modern electronics. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. The availability of a washer and dryer were a bonus.

The air con unit was noisy. Parking out on the street meant having to cart our supplies etc. up the driveway.

Very clean and tidy, great location.

It was quiet. There was a reasonable amount of space. It seemed clean. Plenty of clean towels and extra bedding in the cupboards. You could park outside on the street. Not too far from Croydon station.

This place didn't have anything terribly wrong with it but we didn't like it much. Its a little old house at the back of a big old one, and when we were there it was very very hot and I don't think there was any insulation. There was aircon in the lounge and main bedroom but the lounge one was so old and noisy you could hardly have it on (and none in second bedroom). The bedding was clean but ugly, weird lace frills on the bedcovers and sheets and the plastic cover on the dining table. There were some unidentified appliances in the kitchen, and all the appliances seemed to be Chinese, and the hairdryer for example only had a Chinese plug (we eventually found a plugboard for this in the bathroom). There was also a random assortment of food in the cupboards, mostly Chinese adjacent, sauces and noodles and the like. It wasn't clear who the hosts were as it was self-check in, but the people in the big house were only barely civil. This place might suit Chinese visitors or a family wanting somewhere that doesn't cost the earth and not caring what it looks like (and it isn't the middle of summer), but a bijou pad it is not.
