Wasn’t keen on stripping the beds at the end of the stay

Very comfortable, lovely property and perfect for what we needed.

The only issue we had was that the tin opener didn’t work and we had a can without a pull ring lid.

Given wrong code for the lockbox but easily rectified via WhatsApp. Good location for stuff to do in the area. Clean comfy stay.

Back garden area is not securely fenced for dogs, nor did I see on the listing that it’s not fenced securely, not sure why a dog friendly place doesn’t have fenced gardens? Had to keep our dogs on the lead constantly which was a bit of a nuisance as they’re are used to having free roam of the garden at home, and then someone else staying had a dog off the lead and it came charging over into our back area and I had to scurry back in the house with my dogs before a fight occurred - not really the stress free stay having to be on watch for other dogs constantly when letting ours out for the toilet, and one dog is fussy about needing grass to toilet and there isn’t a blade of grass on site. Work men were also walking back and forth through our back area staring in the windows, didn’t give us much privacy and was stressing the dogs out.

Easy to find, super comfy bed, reasonable kitchen, with some minor adjustments like additional lighting, acoustic treatment, and some hardware upgrades (especially the shower), this would be a great place to rest after exploring the area.

Upon arrival, we hit a parking problem but all there needs to be is a notice to say more at the other end. Parking was marked out there, but not by the entrance. The property seems thrown together with thin walls allowing noise from next door to be more than apparent, cheap fixtures and fittings like taps that aren't easy to operate and a shower that went from cold to scolding in a minute adjustment. The rear doors that are almost 2cm too short to fit correctly! It's also quite dark inside, even with white painted walls.
