Please provide basic cleaning items such as handwashing, paper towel and air fresheners for the toilet. Also please provide with fans or air conditioners. When we arrived the chalet was very hot and we didn’t have any air conditioners

Location was great quite secluded for children to play.Very quiet area

The host forwarded us the code of the lock-box timely and also answered my message timely. The apartment is big enough for 3 people and is located in a quiet holiday park. The apartment has a shower that works really well which we always appreciate and the beds are quite comfortable. Furthermore, it has a kitchen with a fridge, water heater, oven and microwave and kitchen utilities. No coffee machine though. We liked the quietness of the place and the fact that the apartment is nicely located for visits to the beach and has a few places nearby to have a drink or a bite such as the Fish and Chips take-away and one or two bars. There is enough space to park the car nearby so this is very handy when traveling with suitcases and bags. We did not spend much time inside the apartment as we were mostly in Norwich.

Unfortunately, the time we spent inside the apartment, we found it was not very clean. We found a dead insect in the kitchen window sill and something not very pleasant underneath the bin-bag when changing it. Obviously, it has been there for a long time and nobody checked it so we recommend to give the bin a good clean inside- and out. We also found cobwebs in the rooms and the living room. The corners in the bathroom were not very clean either. Generally, the whole place needs a good clean. All those comments about the place being spotlessly clean, unfortunately, are out of date. There is a big TV screen in the living room but it does not work. We went to have a look outside and saw that the satellite cable was cut or broken. Since there is no wifi in the place you have to run your devices on your own data but the data roaming is very slow and often doesn't seem to work properly so it is difficult to stay connected but great if you want to totally disconnect from everything. It is definitely not a place for a long(er) stay or one for us to come back to.
