Cottage at The Butchers Arms

A lovely little cottage, with loads of character. Lovely surprise of essentials in the fridge to welcome me. Comfy bed and a well equipped kitchen. A really enjoyable stay, I will be back in the future.

The cottage was perfect, everything you need is provided and It was so peaceful. The little garden is lovely . Jo left us the most amazing loaf of soda bread to have for breakfast.

I almost don’t want to rate this hideaway as I would like to keep it to myself. A perfect getaway. Everything you could want and need in a delightful bundle. Beautiful enclosed garden. Small but surprisingly spacious. Beautiful character property in a quiet countryside location

Nice area, good amenities.

Unfortunately, the property was not cleaned efficiently. It was absolutely covered in spiders with spiders in the bed! When I woke up I had been bitten in the night, If more effort went into the cleaning this would not be an issue. No efficient curtain on the door it was just a blanket thrown over so the living room was not private. We spent 40 minutes hoovering the property when we initially arrived to get rid of as many spiders/bugs as we could which was not enjoyable considering the price we paid.
