We had a wonderful time at Gaspare’s home. Super convenient with the Vaporetto stop 2 minutes away, located in an authentic palazzo, from the entrance of the building to the details of the apartment. What is there not to like? San Marco piazza is 7 minutes walk away, restaurants are everywhere around, central yet quiet on a small secondary canal with only locals navigating.
We stayed 4 days and we felt it wasn’t enough.

Historical and uniquely decorated. Good for couples. We were in the middle of a horrible heatwave so the AC struggled to keep things comfortable.
Lots of steps to get to the apartment so if you are older this might not be the place for you.

Fantastic central yet quiet location 2 minutes walk from Santa Maria de Giglio water taxi station. Had my best nights of sleep in Italy here. The apartment is set us like a loft with a comfortable king bed in the loft and 2 twin beds in a room downstairs. Charming and quaint apartment in an old Venetian palace, there are frescoes around the ceiling and an expansive library! We loved our stay here and highly recommend.
Everything was great! Not a problem for us and our 9 and 10 year old kids, but the railing/barriers in the lofted area may be a concern for younger children.

Gaspare was an amazing host. He was extremely helpful and communicated timely. He even provided us with restaurant recommendations. The apartment felt homey and was in a great location.
We liked everything about the property except having to leave.
