Golfe-Juan is a great base for exploring the French Riviera, and that was one of the main reasons we chose this apartment. The beach is within walking distance, although we preferred driving to different beaches every day. The private parking space is in a nearby garage only about 50 meters from the building, which was very convenient. The apartment is part of a large residential complex with a nice swimming pool. There are quite a few pool rules, but everything was well organized. There are no umbrellas, although the pool area is designed so that there is always some shade available. The kitchen appears to have been renovated relatively recently and is well equipped with good-quality appliances. The bathroom is spacious and nicely finished.

Our biggest disappointment was that the living room did not match the photos. The corner sofa shown in the listing had been replaced with a small fold-out sofa. As a family of four, we couldn't all sit together comfortably and watch TV or similar, and it was also not particularly comfortable for our two children to sleep on. The bed in the bedroom was much firmer than we prefer. We eventually got used to it, but the first nights were very uncomfortable. There were small patches of mold in the corners of the living room and bedroom ceiling. We also found several silverfish in the apartment. The glass table shown on the terrace photos had actually been moved inside the dining area and was extremely unstable, making it inconvenient to use. The terrace table and chairs were fine but quite dusty and would have benefited from a more thorough cleaning. The toilet is located in a very small separate room without visible ventilation. Although there seems to be some hidden ventilation because odors did not linger after use, the room had a constant urine smell from the moment we arrived. We even cleaned it thoroughly ourselves, but the smell remained. Overall, the location and the renovated kitchen were definite highlights, but the differences from the listing photos and several maintenance and cleanliness issues meant that we would probably choose a different place if we visited the area again.
