Arbi's Apartment

Great location! This is a large apartment and well equipped in the kitchen with a large fridge/freezer and dining area. Excellent air-conditioning. Large comfortable beds. Washing machine and drying area on the balcony. Friendly and helpful hosts. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing, everything was great!

The Host Arbi met me and brought me up and showed the Appartment. He's a good guy. He also runs the local Cinema so you will not be stuck for entertainment. It's 2 minute walk to city center.

Close to buses and downtown Shkoder but still quiet to city noise. Bed was fairly comfortable, and kitchen was sufficient to cook (only 2 burners, but enough). Shower enclosed by a door, hot water worked well with time to reheat allowed. Laundry washer machine worked well, and drying rack outside on balcony provided. Enormous fridge/freezer to use. Elevator worked well to go up to 6th floor/level (there are 8 floors). Sheets were clean. Allowed us to drop off our bags early during rain storm which was appreciated. Never met Arbi but his mother and aunt were very kind to us. Photo instructions to find location were helpful and necessary. Light blocking shades were great to help sleep at night.

AC worked ok but was very loud compared to others. Noise from neighbors above was very loud but they did go to sleep around 10pm- not the fault of Arbi but walls/floors are very thin. Bathroom especially shower were not clean, with lots of someone’s hair in shower. Most handles/surfaces did not feel clean except bed and floor, but maybe they were hurried to let us check in early?
