Super stop for going South from Cherbourg

Lovely "gite" style place , away from everything. Claudia is a very welcoming host and the facilities and ambience was superb for a one night stop for us.

The spring mattress has been truly sprung.

Beautiful place and spotlessly clean!

Very clean and great facilities. Lovely location and host was extremely friendly and helpful. The gite was very beautifully updated and the little welcome gifts of milk and cider were very welcome!!

It was very hot when we arrived and some fans in the bedrooms and living room would have been a good idea. Also the step down into the living room caught us out a few times!! Extra toilet rolls would also have been appreciated :-)

Stylish, clean, spacious apartment with two nicely furnished double bedrooms with comfy beds, open plan living area with modern kitchen, within a beautiful old house and gardens, and space for parking. Stunning view over the countryside. Lovely, friendly host.

Nothing major - just a couple of observations/suggestions. It didn’t matter too much to us, as we were out quite a lot, but perhaps another armchair would be good as the apartment sleeps 4, but there’s only one sofa. And a very small thing - there was no bread knife - important for cutting your french baguette!

L'absence de propreté des locaux. Les matelas d'un autre temps qui grincaient. L'absence de tout moyen de nettoyage uniquement présence d'un aspirateur qui ne fonctionnait pas

Perfekter Aufenthalt an einem liebevoll eingerichteten Ort!

Alles war perfekt! Die ruhige Lage auf einem tollen Anwesen, sehr ruhig, mit großem Garten. Das Appartment ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an gar nichts! Und wenn man dann doch nochmal ein Bügeleisen braucht, besorgt Klaudia auch das! Das Badezimmer ist neu und die Küche komplett ausgestattet. Unser Hund war herzlich willkommen und hat sogar ein eigenes Willkommenspaket mit Näpfen, Leckerlie und einer Decke bekommen. Toll! Vom Wohnort ist man schnell in Graville, beim Kanufahren oder beim Mont St. Michel! Wenn es uns nochmal in die Gegend verschlägt, wovon wir ausgehen, werden wir definitv wieder Gäste von Klaudia sein!

Urlaub mit Herz und Ruhe

Mir hat absolut alles gefallen! Angefangen von herzlichen Empfang von Magdalena über das wunderschöne Appartement. Im Kühlschrank stand eine Flasche Cidre, der ja in der Normandie produziert wird, sowie Milch für den Kaffee am nächsten Morgen. Kaffeekapseln, Zucker, Obst, ein hübscher Teller mit Essig & Öl sowie Pfeffer und Salz war da. Auch ein kleiner Überraschungskarton für meinen kleinen Hund mit Napf, Decke, Kackitüten… Über die vielen angenehmen Kleinigkeiten könnte ich noch ewig schwärmen. Das Appartement ist liebevoll mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet sowie einer modernen Küchenzeile mit allem was man fürs home cooking braucht. Der TV hat einen Amazon Stick, den ich mit meinem Passwort nutzen konnte wie daheim. Und dann der Garten! Nicht einsehbar und man hört und sieht nichts außer Natur. Morgens einfach Türe öffnen und im Pyjama mit dem Hund raus. Unbezahlbar! Klaudia kam 2 Tage nach mir wieder Heim mit ihrem neuen Welpen. Unsere drei Hunde haben sich hervorragend vertragen und mein Louis hat die Zeit dort sichtlich genossen. Klaudia ist eben so ein Schatz! Wenn man Tipps benötigt oder Fragen hat, die beiden haben immer ein offenes Ohr und ein strahlendes Lächeln. Herzensmenschen durch und durch!!! Der nächstgelegene Supermarkt Carrefur war nur ein paar Minuten entfernt. Bis zum nahegelegenen weitläufigen Strand fährt man nur etwas über 10 Minuten. Die nächste Stadt mit wundervollem Dom und vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fährt man keine 30 Minuten. Für keine Sehenswürdigkeit habe ich länger als 1,5 Std Fahr gehabt. Also ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt zum erkunden der Gegend, Landungsstrände, Saint Michel uvm.

Dass ich wieder Heim fahren musste. Ganz herzlichen Dank, liebe Klaudia für den wundervollen Urlaub. Louis und ich freuen uns aufs nächste Mal!!!!

Le calme de l'environnement, l'espace devant les portes fenêtres de l'appartement, les petites attentions (bouteille de cidre au frais, dosettes de café, lait, pommes,...) qui nous attendaient dans le logement.

Le manque de chauffage dans la salle de bain, pas de sèche serviettes, peu d'ustensiles de cuisine (pas de plat à four par exemple),le peu d'espace autour du lit, ...
