Tamarind Villa in langkawi

Everything. So wonderful we stayed an extra week.

Let me start from the end - we did not want to leave :-) Tamarind Villa is big and for family of two adults and three kids provided everything we needed. We could sit together on the terrace, playing desk games but whenever anybody wanted some chill space, there was plenty. Swimming pool was very refreshing in hot days. The villa is located a bit in middle of nowhere so it was very quiet and relaxing. If this is something you seek, you cannot make a mistake to stay there. Small and big gekkos around and a resident hornbill, funny guy coming every morning to check what's going on. A car is needed to get around but everything is close on Langkawi so this is not a problem if you hire a car or scooter. Honestly, I can even imagine spending whole week just in the villa, doing nothing :-)

Some wear & tear, dishwasher was out of order, also one of the fridges but as there are three, no problem with that.

Serene Views, Place & Setting, Ambience, Facilities, Care taking Staff, Nature, Birds & Animals, Quietness, Air Circulation, Landscaping & Seating/Resting Areas, Kitchen, Wi-Fi & Cellular Connectivity and Comfort are all tick marked and at benchmark levels.

Critters and small household frogs, lizards etc. enter the room and washroom; though the care taking staff is very accommodating and takes care of these issues or any other immediate & necessary requirements.

Peaceful and calm. Beautiful scenery of the mountain and village view. There’s a swamp beside the house where you’ll see a buffalo spend its time. Good place to spend time with family

Some of the furniture requires maintenance. Example: gate remote control doesn’t really work, need to push multiple times to take effect. The door keys are not available, so you need to call the caretaker in case you locked in.
