The traditional Malay houses are so beautiful, unique and preserved in its original condition.

These are quirky accommodations. 350 years old so be prepared for the occasional issue. The air conditioning was not great and is supplemented with ceiling fans which increases the noise level. However, if you stayed at similar accommodation in Malaysia before and enjoyed their rustic charm (as we have), they could be for you. Food is excellent and the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much for them.

Very friendly staff
The children all got cuts on their feet from the swimming pool. All three children had bleeding feet. The call to prayer should be recognised on the website. It went off at 0540 every morning and was very loud. Then again at 0600.
