Descanso das Palmeiras - HOST & CHILL

Prima verblijf gehad bij Descanso das Palmeiras. Het huis ligt op een super locatie met veel eetgelegenheden, parken en warmwaterbronnen in de buurt. Binnen is het ruim, gezellig ingericht en de keuken is goed uitgerust. De vierde kamer zit achterin de tuin, wat even zoeken was. Verder een fijn en comfortabel huis.

Er hing dagelijks een minder prettige geur, maar die viel na een tijdje niet meer op.

Beautiful property in a great location. Quality finishings throughout and the kitchen was well stocked. The king sized beds had premium mattresses, truly top quality.

Both the main house and the annex bedroom and bath were very musty. We were thankful for the dehumidifiers but the musty smell persisted. The 3rd bedroom in the house is definitely the ‘kid’ room with no mini-split which did not work well for a group of all adults.

Sao Miguel Island in The Azores is magical and we loved it. We really enjoyed Furnas, with its amazing scenery, parks, hot springs, and more. It was charming and we'd visit again. The accommodation was really good and very easy to stay in - high standard furnishings and the kitchen was very well stocked. We didn't turn the television on, so can't comment on how many channels there were. There were four of us and we used two bedrooms - everything was fine and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of places to sit and relax too (some rental homes don't have enough chairs at the dining table or enough places to sit and relax, but here there were plenty and lots of different options, which we appreciated). We were fortunate to have wonderful weather for most of our trip and we spent time outside the back of the property - the garden is charming and we ate on the patio. Thank you to the hosts.

Strong air fresheners. Neither of us ladies do well with strong smells (they can give me migraines), so we moved them and everything was ok.
