Onara rooms were exactly what I wanted. The room has an AC, which was great, a small but handy kitchen with a fridge, and an en-suite bathroom. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The welcome drink coconut was a really nice touch.
I personally don't like Weligama, but there was nothing wrong with the location of the homestay you might just want to have a scooter as it is located on the edge of the bay.
