The hotel is very close to a local church. The bell of the church rings every half an hour, which makes me not able to sleep at all. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a good sleep.
At the second day I was in the hotel, the hotel has no electricity. I came to the reception and the staff told me that the whole street is running out of electricity and they had no idea when it will be back to normal. I was very tired after all night non-sleep but had to go out and hunt for food.

This hotel was near the center of attractions. Because of my late arrival, (my flight was delayed), I was given the last room. It was small but adequate and generally well appointed. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room did work well and I had two sleepless nights. On the final day of my stay, I was moved to a much better room. The staff was efficient and friendly and the location excellent. There were many shops and restaurants nearby. The acropolis could be seen from the upper floors. Overall, the service was excellent and I would recommend this hotel.

The reception area is very small and can only accomodate one checkin ... leaving bags is not easy.
The room we booked was with a view of the accropolis and what we got was a partial view at best, a large structure was blocking the view, make sure you get a very high floor if you want an unobstructed view. The restaurant on the terrace is not associated with the hotel and the prices are very expensive.. but Athens in general is overpriced for food.
The desk staff were very helpful and did their best with the facilities they were given.
This was a very expensive stay and I would look elsewhere if you are going to pay the money they are asking.
