This place is very central, feels safe and the staff are friendly. But the place needs more care - our shower lever was broken on arrival, making showering a bit challenging. After 2 days, we were moved to another room, but arrived to find food still in the fridge, dirty floor and sticky light switches. The AC in the small room was great but the unit in the large room couldn’t keep it cool.
If they improve their maintenance and cleaning, I would recommend it.

Clean and very comfortable in a terrific location, with very helpful and kind staff/front desk. I’d go back to it if I were in Athens again for sure.

I recently stayed at ABOV Athens, and overall, I had a quite pleasant experience. The room was clean, decent in size, and comfortable, providing a good amount of space to relax. The location was fantastic—convenient and easy to access key attractions around the city.
One small downside was the bathroom; there was no shelf in the shower, which made it a bit tricky to organize toiletries without placing them on the floor. However, this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great stay.
All in all, I would recommend ABOV Athens for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in the city. I’d definitely consider staying here again!
