Enjoy the perfect mix of old and new in the historic Whitledge-Canady house of Hillsboro, built in the 1800s. There are four bedrooms: two with a full bath and two with a half bath (each with its unique style) a full kitchen, dining room, front "social" room and a TV room, office, laundry, huge back deck, plus a charming front porch.
Just a few minutes walk to beautiful downtown Hillsboro, parks, library, and grocery.

Downstairs Green Queen bed with full bathroom
Downstairs Red Full bed with half bathroom
Upstairs Pink Queen with full bathroom
Upstairs Blue Full with half bathroom
Enjoy the front porch or back porch. Both are different experiences guaranteed to find enjoyment.

There is a steep original stairway to the second-floor bedrooms.

Came in though back door and was surprised to fid it unlocked. When i did find the front door, i nearly tripped because the step up o porch from sidewalk is an odd height. Home was beautiful and great area. Only other thing that ould have been nice to know was the Walnut tree. Wind was crazy Sat night and we spent hours awake n bed due to the loud BANGS of walnuts hiting the roof/porch. The first one scared me- thought someone else was in the house! Kitchen faucet was loose but we never used it so not a problem for us. Loved that the shower had plenty of towels and nice hot water! Great stay.

Very cool house. A toilet and sink in every bathroom. Claw foot tub upstairs and full shower downstairs. Close to restaurants and shops , very walking friendly.
