The location is great, in a quiet street with the ferry to Valetta only a short walk down the stairs and many bus stops around. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a life saver in the heat.
The only thing I would add is more storage or shelves to put down your things.

The amenities were really nice, you have a TV, air conditioning, a (shared) kitchen etc. The location is also exceptional. The owner also was very responsive after a short power outage (due to a construction site nearby).
The shower and the bathroom sink were clean, however, the floor was not very clean. The two small cupboards next to our bed were also not clean (not only were they dusty, which posed a small inconvenience, but there were also small hairs). The toilet seemed to be only superficially cleaned as well. Without these minuses our stay would easily have been an 8. As of now, we can only give a 5.
