11 Suites - Sunrise Horizon Suite

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment has an exceptional sea view, and one of the highlights was being able to watch the sunrise every morning, even from bed. Absolutely beautiful! The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities to prepare your own meals, which made our stay even more convenient. Everything was just perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time here. If we come back, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

I had stayed in this apartment (Sunrise Horizon Suite - 501) a couple of years ago, though it was managed by a different company at that time, so I more or less knew what to expect. The location is absolutely amazing - you get a direct view of Finikoudes Beach and the Municipal Amphiteater (also bus stop to Aya Napa, Limassol, Nikozia...) and 4 min. walk to Larnaca Marina. The building it self is nice and clean. We happened to be there during the Kataklizmos festival and had a front-row seats to all the concert right from the balcony! :) Despite being so close to the action, the sound insulation was surprisingly good - once the balcony doors were closed, the noise was very manageable. The apartment was fine equipped for three people (everything came in three pieces, e.g. spoons, forks, water glasses) - but it could definitely use some minor maintenance. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine in the apartment (there were also a few dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher). Also - if you are traveling with elderly people or people with limited mobility - be careful - because the furniture - the couches in the living room, all the beds - are really very low (which is not a problem at all - it's just good to point it out). Communication with 11 Suites was quick and easy, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

As mentioned, I had stayed in this exact apartment two years ago under different management, and sadly, the cleanliness this time was disappointing. There was dust throughout, and while sweeping under one of the couches, I found a used hygiene product – absolutely unacceptable. Ironically, I later received a message offering mid-stay cleaning for a fee, which felt a bit out of place considering the initial state of the flat. After a long journey, it was also a letdown to find no welcome basics like a bottle of water. There wasn’t even salt, pepper, or a bit of cooking oil – small touches you usually find in a furnished kitchen. I ended up buying those, but it feels wasteful if everyone’s basics are just thrown out between stays. Plus for example - no wine glasses. Instructions for appliances were scattered on random pieces of paper, some of which we only found after a few days. I had to message the company to learn how to turn on the water heater. They replied quickly, which I appreciated, but a simple one-page guide would make a big difference. The TV isn’t a smart TV and had only two local channels. Also, there was just one power adapter, even though many devices had European plugs, and some wall sockets (like in the kitchen) weren’t in great shape. Finally, the rubbish disposal instructions were unclear. The message said to find green bins outside, but they were nowhere to be found – only a small public bin on the promenade. I walked around the building multiple times looking for proper bins. Updated instructions would really help. I love the location and come to Cyprus - Larnaca area regularly, but I’m not sure this stay delivered good value for the money. For my next trip I might consider this apartment again because of the great location - but I´ll definitely wait to read new reviews, especially regarding cleanliness. To be honest, I´d recommend others the same. :)
