L'host in Taormina

The location was perfect! It was near to restaurants, shops, sights and taxi stand. The host, Ugo, was so friendly. He spent time showing us around Taormina. He answered all our questions. We now have a friend in Sicily.

Sehr schöne und sehr saubere Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war sehr hübsch und wirklich ruhig, was wir besonders toll fanden, sehr modern, schön möbliert und und bot genügend Platz, das Bett war super bequem. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte bestens. Ugo ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr viel erklärt, spricht sehr gut englisch, und von Anfang an fühlt man sich willkommen. Schon vor unserer Ankunft hat er viele Tipps gegeben was man in Taormina anschauen kann, Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Gelaterias, und vieles mehr. Er hat uns bei der Ankunft bei der Porta Messina abgeholt und uns gleich viel über Taormina erzählt, er hat uns zum Apartment gebracht, hat uns alles erklärt, anschließend hat er uns noch seinen Lieblings Aussichtspunkt gezeigt und war mit uns Mittagessen. Am Abreisetag hat uns Ugo auch noch zum Bahnhof gebracht. Also so einen super lieben und herzlichen Gastgeber findet man selten ! Einfach hervorragend und auf alle möglichen Fragen top vorbereitet und auch während wir dort waren, hat Ugo immer gefragt ob alles ok ist oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Taormina, alles ist schnell zu erreichen, Altstadt, Strand und Promenade, Sehenswürdigkeiten, zahlreiche Restaurants, Cafés, Boutiquen und Geschäfte, was man eben sehen möchte oder braucht. Wir waren für zwei Konzerte in Barletta, die im Teatro Antico stattfanden, und dafür war es die ideale Lage. Wenn wir wieder nach Taormina kommen sollten, werde wir sehr gerne wieder hier übernachten. Vielen herzlichen Dank Ugo ! Du bist einfach spitze !

Everything about our stay was wonderful, but the absolute highlight was our incredible host, Ugo. He was genuinely the best host I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, Ugo welcomed us with such warmth, friendliness and generosity despite us being quite late unexpectedly. Ugo was always smiling, always happy to help, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He truly went above and beyond for us even driving us around to help us find parking and taking the time to show us through the apartment and the town explaining every little detail and recommendation. You can tell Ugo has thought of everything to make his guests feel comfortable and looked after. The apartment itself is perfectly located on a lovely, quiet street, which feels like a little escape from the busy town, while still being very close to all the hustle and bustle. The best recommendations are very close in walking distance to Ugo’s apartment. What really made our stay special, though, was Ugo. His hospitality was exceptional and made us feel completely at home. He is one of those people you feel lucky to meet while travelling, so kind, welcoming, happy and generous with his time. I cannot recommend staying with Ugo highly enough. The apartment is fantastic, the location is perfect, but Ugo is what makes this place truly special. If you stay here, you can be certain he will look after you in every possible way. Thank you, Ugo, for making our stay so memorable. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Anyone visiting the area simply must book with Ugo! The apartment is beautiful, super clean, stylish, and perfectly located. When we arrived, we were welcomed with fresh fruit, water, wine, and even limoncello ! Ugo met us in town, accompanied us to the apartment, showed us the main spots, and gave excellent recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and where to go. Ugo is an amazing host – kind, available, and caring, who took care of every little detail and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended – I have no doubt I will stay with him again on my next visit to Taormina!
