Lovely apartment right in the centre of Taormina with a helpful host. Gorgeous surroundings, lots of restaurants and wine bars around

We were a party of 3 people and the hot water tended to run out by the time the last person had their shower. Can be noisy but that’s a trade off when staying so central

Everything was great, so central to everything in the old town. Also close to the cable cars to the beach. Hosts were so responsive and really helpful.

Only bad thing was the glass collections underneath our bedroom around 6am every morning but that’s the price you pay for the great location and would not let that stop me booking again.

Het appartement ligt ideaal in het centrum van Taormina, op wandelafstand van bezienswaardigheden, restaurants en winkels. De ruimte is netjes en functioneel ingericht, prima voor een kort verblijf.

Vooral de nachtrust was een probleem: er was continu lawaai van de straat en de vuilnisophaling. Het was enkel stil tussen 04:00 en 05:30 uur. Oordopjes en ‘white noise’ hielpen helaas niet, waardoor we bijna slapeloze nachten hadden. Daarnaast is de badkamer duidelijk verouderd en aan vernieuwing toe. Tips voor verbetering: • Driedubbele beglazing voor betere geluidsisolatie • Vernieuwing/modernisering van de badkamer • Living ombouwen tot tweede slaapkamer (vonden we nu een beetje een verloren ruimte) Met deze aanpassingen zou dit appartement een absolute aanrader zijn. Voor nu vooral geschikt voor wie een diepe slaap heeft en minder waarde hecht aan stilte.
