Our host (Ellie) could not have been more lovely! Not only is Ellie super responsive, but she provided so many great recommendations for the surrounding areas. Also, we came for my sister's graduation, and upon our arrival, there was a note congratulating her. And, of course, the house is beautiful. You can absolutely tell that the utmost care was taken to preserve the historic feel of the home - with some nice, newer additions (rain shower & comfy beds)! If you're looking for a quiet country retreat, this place will be perfect. I highly recommend trying out the merry-go-round (hold on tight)! :)
Was not an issue for us, but just so people know, no paper products can be flushed here due to the plumbing. There are waste bins in the bathroom (with plenty of extra liners), so you could definitely use a new liner each day.

House is 100+ years old in the same family, beautiful, cozy, and impeccably restored. Hosts were professional, pleasant, helpful, and eager to make our stay a good one.
