About this house rental
Newly Renovated!!!! New Flooring Throughout the Home and Newly Painted Walls!
Come explore what Southern Illinois has to offer for your next family getaway! The "YARDHOUSE AT THE LAKE" has it all! 4 bedrooms with 4 queen beds and 2 baths. Nice rooms with a large deck overlooking the yard and waterfront of a cove at the Lake. Dock with electricity, Nice Lake Views, Fire Pit, Wifi, Outdoor Grill, garage, Washer/Dryer, Flat Screen TV's, Fully stocked (just bring food and toiletries), all new furniture in fall of 2019.
We also rent the homes just down the street in walking distance. One is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath (vrbo 710693) and sleeps 8, and the other is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath (vrbo 1185578) and sleeps 10!
Ask about renting 2 homes or 3 homes for better discounts!!!! All of our homes are located at the mid point of the lake. See the attached photo showing the location of all our rental homes at the lake.
Boat rentals are available around the lake. Check out https://lakeofegyptpontoonrentals.com and tell them Roman sent you!!!
Macks Marina and Egyptian Hills Marina also have boat rentals and you can launch your boat from both of them and also Pyramid Acres for a small fee.
We do provide two kayaks for each home. Please bring your own life vests as we do not provide those.
We do require a $100 Damage Deposit. This will be returned to you immediately upon our cleaning team reporting no damage, no excess cleaning, and no excess trash.
Standard check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee and subject to availability.

Communication with host was excellent as we had reschedule and things went smoothly! The house is an excellent stay for a fishing trip. The kitchen is downstairs so be prepared to use the stairs a lot. The dock worked very well for my 20’ fishing boat and even had electric. Kitchen had essentials to survive not thrive. Cleanliness of the house and property could have been better. There was cheese stick wrappers in the bedroom, dog hair everywhere, and handprints on both sliding doors and walls. I believe the cleaning company could do a better job. The back ground patio was covered in leaves from last fall and had dog poop in the yard. Overall a great location and property for a guys fishing trip.

Great location and space. The showers were great! The towels were old and in poor condition, several kitchen drawers needed cleaning, the back patio was covered in leaves, and several pieces of furniture were broken.

Nice area,access to the lake which was great but they need a new house cleaner,we spent 3hrs cleaning b4 we unpacked nasty dishes n the cabinets,was used but not washed and cabinet door n kitchen hanging on one hinge ,but the owner is very nice to wrk with..........
